Barb Hanson
After graduating with a Business Management degree, Barb Hanson used her skills and education to pursue her love of education and management in the post secondary Education industry. With many years in the education sector to include 10 years as a College President of several campuses Barb decided it was time to find a new challenge.
In 2002 Barb accepted a position with Transnation Title a LandAmerica company and grew her skills in the Real Estate arena. Barb quickly became licensed in Colorado as a Title Producer even though it was not required, Barb feels strongly in education and training. Within the first year Barb quickly rose to the top of the development team and in the following four years Barb enjoyed numerous monthly and yearly recognition awards.
In January 2007 Barb began her new career with Fidelity National Title as Vice President of Business Development. In this position Barb continued to exceed expectations and was recognized with several industry awards. Barb prides herself with the ability to successfully adapt to the ever changing Real Estate industry and continues to help grow the Colorado title operations by accepting a position with American Title Services, a Colorado owned and operated Title and Escrow Company with a goal to help the Colorado consumers at a local level.
Barb has been a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors since 2002 and has held many elected positions within this organization as well as being awarded Affiliate of the year in 2005. Barb continues to stay active in several Realtor Boards throughout Metro Denver.
Barb is celebrating her 27th wedding anniversary this year but with all of her accomplishments Barb is most proud of her son Nick who recently graduated with a Bio Chemistry degree from the University of Nebraska. In Barb’s spare time she enjoys all sports but specifically baseball, hiking, jet skiing, and snow shoeing. Barb has been a long time member of The Humane Society and Dumb Friends League of Colorado and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Denver. In addition Barb has donated many hours to the Habitat for Humanity foundation and the Food Bank of Denver.
